Snow Drabble 1

The snow came down more heavily and more steadily. It had begun with light flurries, but by mid-morning there was significant accumulation. Their clientele had slowly thinned over the course of the morning and they hadn't had a customer in twenty minutes. It was a rarity to have the shop so empty when all four men were working.

Aya dropped his apron onto the counter. "Going upstairs," he announced flatly. "I trust you can close up without me." Then, without waiting for an answer, he turned and headed out.

Yohji raised an eyebrow and could not keep his eyes from following the man out, fixed on Aya's rear. Quickly, he untied his own apron, eager to follow. There had been absolutely no hint in Aya's voice, and no look exchanged between them. But the lack of hints coupled with Aya's sudden fleeing was enough to convey the message.

"Where do you think you're going?" Ken asked Yohji, hands on his hips. Swiftly he moved in front of the doorway, preventing Yohji's escape. "You'd better not be leaving, too."

"I..." Yohji rubbed a hand against the back of his neck. "I'm not feeling so well. Nose is a little tickly and throat's a little sore. I'd better go," he reasoned.

"Aww, poor Yohji-kun!" Omi cooed sympathetically, looking at Yohji over the flowers he was loading into crates. "You go up to bed. Ken and I will finish."

"Omi!" Ken exclaimed, but Omi waved Yohji on, and the older man took the excuse to go. When alone together, Ken sighed. "He's not really sick, you know. Just using it as an excuse to get into bed with Aya. Do you really want to encourage that?"

Omi cocked his head. "It's a snow day. Let them have some fun. Aya's always so restless when we're snowed in. I thought it'd be a good idea." He finished loading the flowers and walked towards the back room where the walk-in cooler was located. "Besides," he said, pausing in the doorway to give Ken a good view of the bow tying up his apron in the back. "I'm feeling a little cold coming on myself. Want to warm me up?"

Ken paused, then eagerly followed the man into the cooler. Once the flowers had been safely put away, Ken pressed his front to Omi's back and slid his hands beneath Omi's apron from behind. He kissed the back of Omi's neck. Omi begin sniffling. He undid Omi's pants and Omi reacted by sneezing.

     "ehhChihhh!"

"You're going to actually catch cold at this rate," Ken chuckled, his breath a warm cloud in the cold air.

"Th-that's fine," said Omi, partially undressed, shivering and pressed against the cold metal wall. "J-just means you'll have to take me upstairs to b-b-bed when we're done here."

Ken laughed and unzipped his jeans with one hand while reaching up with the other and rubbing it against Omi's nose. Then he moved it down to touch more of Omi beneath the apron.
